Strumba Kalimba - Simple and breathtaking musical instrument - Umbra

The Strumba Kalimba musical instrument from the German design firm Umbra is a completely simple and captivating musical instrument with a very pleasant and gentle tonal scale and sound. Melodies are created by pressing down on the small metal tines, which in this way resemble a simplified piano. The idea of a kalimba instrument originated in Zimbabwe. In Umbra's modern version, the unique instrument is made from beautiful beech wood and has soft, rounded edges, making it comfortable to hold.
