Wooden figure, with a loose head and a body that can be turned.
By turning the head/body, the bird can express all sorts of moods and states of mind.
Created by the Danish architect Kristian Vedel in 1959, who was contemporary in both time and style with the architect Kai Bojesen, who created, among other things, the famous monkey. With Bird, Kristian Vedel wanted to create an expressive bird family consisting of fledglings, parent birds and chubby bird grandparents, called Chobby - "because you get that with age," as Kristian Vedel said.
Bird is available in three sizes and two shades:
A small (height: 6.5 cm), a large (height: 12 cm) or a chubby (chobby) version (height: 12 cm). All sizes are available in both natural oak or dark smoked oak.
