Flensted Mobiles - The Black Sheep - Sheep

One, two, three, four, and... just as you're lying there counting sheep, it appears... the black sheep. I first saw the sheep mobile from Danish Flensted Mobiles at the design museum MoMA in New York, where, in all its simplicity, it hung and depicted the universal story of the black sheep in the flock. A story that reminds us of the unavoidable group dynamic phenomenon that what stands out in a group is often what we notice the most. If all the sheep had been white, we would probably have fallen asleep already... The question is, would that have been preferable?
