Wooden figure, with a loose head and a reversible body.
By turning the head/body, the bird can express all sorts of moods and states of mind.
Created by the Danish architect Kristian Vedel in 1959, who was contemporary in both time and style with the architect Kai Bojesen, who made, among other things, the famous monkey. With Bird, Kristian Vedel wanted to create an expressive bird family consisting of fledglings, bird parents, and chubby bird grandparents, called Chobby - "because that's what you become with age," as Kristian Vedel said.
Bird is available in three sizes and two shades:
A small (height: 6.5 cm), a large (height: 12 cm), or a chubby (chobby) version (height: 12 cm). All sizes are available in either natural oak or dark smoked oak.
